I have very nice memories of Ellon and the north east as you can see by my e-mail address an ex Aberdonian now in exile in New Zealand. I just love to cruise around and enjoy the scenery. Seaton Park was a great place to play and fishing at the mouth of the Don. Cycling out to Ellon was always a great adventure ,thanks for the opportunity to relive those good times. Stan New Zealand |
I don't know why but one of my biggest dreams is to come and see these wonderful places! Thanks for your great site, at least I can see them from my desk at work! Moira Italy |
Nice pics of the snow. Lived in Hillhead Drive and Portsoy Crescent in Ellon for 9 years before moving to Adelaide, Australia on 3 Dec 2007. Good to see the place again. It's great out here but miss those cold, sunny days!! Craig Adelaide, Australia |
I was born in Cuminestown, then moved to Ellon where both my parents are now laid to rest. Lovely website to help keep up with the local weather, via webcam, etc. James Peterburgh, England |
Love the site. We have Ella, a 10 month old English Mastiff whose mum is an Andvari. Shes the most loyal dog we've ever had, slobber being her only downside, but we're quite willing to put up with it, considering how great she is! Emma |
If possible could you send me a tourist guide for the Castle. George California, USA |
I think your house is the same Ardgrain which was previously farmed by the Ingram family. If so it is the house where my wife was born. We came to Canada in 1973 but I have fond memories of driving to Ellon through snowy weather at New Year in the late sixties. Bob Canada |
Hi, Just wanted to say great house and great mastiffs... Christine |
I am an Ellon'er born and bred and am now living in London. Just wanted to let you know that I think your site is fantastic. I love the photography on the site and really enjoyed learning about the history of Ardgrain. Rory London, England |
This area looks to me to be quite bonny, and definetely somewhere I'd want to visit should the occasion be possible,
