SP-1 was formed in 2002 by the current managing director Graeme McNay to offer innovative engineering, design and manufacturing solutions to the North Sea oil & gas sector. Graeme is active in the company design and project engineering function daily. The company has grown steadily since its launch and combines design and improvement services on a range of tools for clients in marine, formation evaluation and downhole – working in ‘technology alliances’ with clients or other vendors to deliver cost effective systems and solutions in the safest possible manner.
