The Festival is a unique platform for young talent and a celebration of youthful creativity and innovation. This year we are welcoming an astonishing array of talent from across the world, including dancers and traditional storytellers from Africa, ballet and traditional dance from the Caribbean, classical music from India and singers from Norway, as well as whole lot more.
This year we have developed our Chamber series, increasing the number of concerts to enable us to feature more wonderful musicians from the North East and beyond. As well as our headline galas and concerts in His Majesty’s Theatre, we have a wide range of other theatre and dance shows along with concerts and a Ceilidh celebrating the Scottish year of the Homecoming.
Following on from last year’s success, Festival in the City on Sunday 2 August will bring the Festival into the city centre with free performances and events, alongside the Gordon Highlanders Beating the Retreat and international market stalls.
Once again the important Extended Festival programme will be taking many shows out and about from Arbroath to Aberlour, Inverurie to Inverness and Peterhead to Perth.
We also have a great range of special ticket offers, including Family Tickets and incredible discounts on the Festival Pass so you can see a whole range of Festival shows for as little as £2.50 a show.
Come share the excitement and try something new!
